I always wait a while to buff or wax new paint, so it can cure more, but thats just me. Why didn't you just paint the whole front bumper?

Nice instructions and the job looks great. I can see this project is not for the squimish.
I'd be afraid to do it on the Deuce (she don't need it right now anyway)

i didn't buff anything yet, i clayed and waxed the car a week after i wet sanded the bumper.
i didn't do the whole bumper because i wanted to see if there will be any difference in paint tones but when i removed the tape for my 2nd and 3rd paint coat, it blended everything together very nicely.
