Thanks for the heads up and the info!
I'm surprised a Dale Sr edition wasn't available when I bought my 1999 Z-34... Strange how that worked out....

Maybe I will turn mine into a tribute signature series....

Do you know if any of the interior plaque's are available or any of the decals?

Do you know if the side striping is a decal? or is it painted on?
If you do know where I can get some if not all the decals.plaques etc...
Please let me know where I can get them!

Thanks in advance!

There are some of the Plaques that you can purchase from Dale Earnhardt Chevy in Newton, NC however they are not the same as the ones they used on these cars, you would need to have them custom made I believe.
All of these Cars were made by the Dealer, not the Factory thing like in 02 and 04 Intimidators. I have some close up photo's of the Plaques I will include in a Post here. As for the Exterior decals they would probably have to be custom made. You could call the dealer and see if it would be possible to get them there they might be available?
I met a fellow who had one during my travels back in 96. Otherwise I would have not known about them.
Then they were also featured in the Goodwrench Racing Report.
Then in 1997 I wanted to buy one and checked on it. The wife got tangled up with our Mini Van with a Train. To much Ice on the road, the Train went right in the sliding door and took it up the Tracks 1/4 mile. She was not in it when it happened. She got out in time but needed the Van for the kids. (The funny thing was the Van that got hit was a Ford Aerostar. The Dealer was my neighbor. So when I bought a GM Van folks would ask me why? I didn't buy another Ford. See in as how the next door neighbor was the Ford Dealer. "I just said they just don't hold up"?

This was a collection that I accumulated over several years and the research with Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet. They made Signature Series Trucks, as well as the Monte Carlo, and Camaro.
Check out the Intimidator Camaro that they came up with in 2011 or 12 this was a real neat ride also.

Awesome to see, I have seen a few 5th gen monte carlos around me over the years that were black with the silver water line, no air dam nor decals, just the paint scheme, and maybe a number three on the c pillar.
Added to this a friend of mine told me there was an intimidator z34 for sale on CL, could this possibly have been one?

Well, the way it was told to me if you purchased this car in the day, You got to pick it up and usually got to see Dale himself when you did, if you got it on Dale Earnhardt Day open house at the Dealership. It also came with a weekend at the Race Track nearby I am thinking they indicated Rockingham. Then it was Autographed as well the Dash, sometimes the Visor, and the cover of the Owners Manual. I did get to sit in this one and there was an Autograph on the Dash passenger side.

You know since we lost Dale, I have never went to the North Carolina area to visit his shop or take any of that in, I do know that every guy with a mustache and Gargoyle shades that thought he was Dale showed up there. Out of respect I never did. However it is one of my goals to do in the near future.
In 2002 I was asked to take some photo's with some folks that were doing charity fundraiser for a girl who had Diabetes. Upon arriving there were other folks there as well. I am sitting at the Bar in the Sports Bar that was putting it on, visiting with a friend that had a 95 Monte Carlo ( he had done up to look like the 3 Car. This guy walks in and orders a drink and looked at me, he turned white as a ghost, I said; Hi he just mumbled and took as seat across the room. I asked my friend what that guy was starring at, of course he always looks at me like I should know?
So afterwards the guy comes up to me and apologizes for starring, I said Oh, that's ok I get that all the time.
He said; looking at you I thought man he is back!?!?!
I said what makes you the expert, he said he worked for MRM radio and he had interviewed him countless times, I said well then how close is it???? He said his wife couldn't tell the difference? LOL
I need to write this book called the " life and times of the Intimidators twin" eh, nobody would buy it though!! It does serve up for some great stories though. I have been the guest speaker in front of 500 plus people and tell a few of this stuff and get them in stitches and they actually applauded me. Kind of neat.
