Question Cost of Spoiler Install

Hey everybody! my parents bought me an 06/07 ss spoiler from some company down in Utah or something and I was just wondering how much the actual cost would be to have the spoiler repainted white and to have the top of the trunk lid repainted? I know some of you guys must be really tired of explaining some of this stuff but thankyou for your help its much appreciated!

It all depends on the shops. The shop I dealt with (and I won't go to again, as the guy cannot stay within his estimates), charged me about $400 (that was paint, tax and his labor cost on the job).

Not all shops are equal. Find out a couple of shops people had good experiences with, go to them and get estimates.

Oh wow really that much? I need to get the roof resprayed too I guess that might have to wait. I have a shop right near me that I always bring my car to when I need body work done and they always focus on saving you money so I guess ill get a price quote from them

The tough part is that the GOOD paint is usually quite expensive. So by the time they have the paint and mix it, it's a decent chunk of change. Then you figure it's a good couple of hours prep work on their part to do it.

Body work is a science, usually the cheaper places you can tell. Because they do have to blend your trunklid under the spoiler. It wasn't just swapping the spoiler on these cars.

He has a spoiler already on his trunk-lid, he's replacing for a vertical one where the whole trunk-lid will need to be redone, it's not just adding a spoiler to a blank trunk-lid unfortunately
