Default Color code 1979 Monte Carlo?

Am looking for some touch up paint for my 1979 Monte Carlo.
I sell a brand of paint that has over 200 GM colors but I need the color code of mine to match it...

Where can I find the color code?

Thanks! stupid question: what does that look like? On the inside of my trunk lid the code TA-24 is "stamped". But I can't find that colorcode anywhere...

/edit/ ow, wait, the entire list is there? not in mine unfortunately.. /edit/

other places could be glove box, inside doors near the latch
If you are lucky enough to have sales papers, it may be on there

Thanks again, I'm gonna hunt for it tomorrow.

No sales papers unfortunately, I do have the original manual and warranty-thingy but it's not on there

So, I looked everywhere but can't find the color code anywhere...

I did find a part of the original brochure online:

As I have the blue interior I think my color has to be the "Blue, dark metallic"

Anyboy knows what paint code that is? I tried googl'ing it but no luck. Found a great site with hundreds of chevy paint codes. (PaintRef.com - Automotive Truck Fleet Paint Color Code Cross Reference) but they stop at 1975 for the Monte Carlo and start at 1988 again

Thanks!
First site only has a grey for a 1979 Monte Carlo. The second one does indeed have that "dark blue metallic" but gives 29 as a paint code... Doesn't seem right (looking at other codes that contain letters too...

The search continues..

Most of the time if they had letters for the paint code it was U or L (upper color and lower color). So if you car is all the same color blue on top and bottom it would be possibly listed as 29U, 29L or just simply 29. Now if it was only the dark blue on the bottom and another color on top the code would read more like 29L,14U
