Default Changing grills

Hey guys im new here but I need your help. I have a 2000 chevy monte carlo ls and im considering buying a 2006 monte carlo grill both upper and lower and installing them on my 2000 MC. Do you guys think the 06 MC grill will fit on my 00" MC.

Welcome!

Doubtful, the front end of a '06/'07 Monte is largely different then the '00-'05 style. If it will fit, it will require some custom modifications.

What if i change my front bumper to a 06 bumper will it work?

Thatll only work if u do fenders, hood & headlights too

I want a cost efficient look for the front of the car. Do you think that is the way to go or should i try an alternative?

You can get an SLP grille off eBay. Pop off the knights crest and it attaches with double sided tape.

Yep, just pop the knight's crest off:



Clean it up:



Stick on the SLP Grille with double-sided emblem tape:



Realize that the bow-tie that they supply is trash, and replace it with an SS off the side of a car:
