I just got my tail lights and the wiring harness doesn't seem to be plug and play with my car. Did they change the harness for 05? The box specifically 332-1942PXUS3 - Monte Carlo Cpe '04.

What? Where did you buy them from and what kind are they? The ones I bought off of eBay were all "Plug and Play"...and that's what I did lol

 

I figured it out - not happy that there were no instructions - more like unplug, unplug, plug, plug and play LOL!!!!

 

There are 2 outer circles, and 2 inner circles on my brake lights, the outers light up when you brake, and the inners are the blinkers.

The red ring that you see in my sig is a reflector.



That is just brakes, then the inner circles are the blinkers. (my camera phone blurred the light a little, so it looks like there isn't much room for the blinkers, but there is plenty. I need a better shot of them lit up)

 

Ya Mike - you got a new fancy camera for your B-Day I expect to see new shots of the tail lights LOL!!!!

 

Actually, the new CTS and V2 have a projection light bar on both the front and rear of the car. The rear bar serves as the taillight, with LED brake lights.Those LED tails have that super cheap untextured chrome reflector for the turn signal and those LEDs are spaced too far apart and are too big. The more I look at them, the more rice they look.
