Can it be touched up, or does it need to be repainted.
Hey everyone,
So I have been trying to get my new Monte looking good but it goes without saying that she has some war scars.
Below is some pictures of what I am talking about, similar scuffs and small scrapes can be found all over, and the front is pretty dinged up from never wearing any road armor/neglect.
Is there anything that can be done to cover it all up or am I looking at a new paint job?

I have used a product called...Scratch Off.....
And I high speed buffing wheel with a thick pad.....
It removed it completely!......
Then polished it and buffed it lightly...
and POOF! it was gone....
I actually used a multispeed drill motor...and a Cheapo pad and arbor from Harbor freight...

If it's down to the primer, then you need to repaint. If it's more like scuffs, then they will probably buff out. Products such as Meguires Scratch-X work well for scuffs.
As for rock chips, etc. on the front from normal driving, there is not a whole lot you can do aside from a paint chip pen, otherwise, you will be looking at a whole new paint job. Or at least repainting the damaged sections.
