Default Bumper Swap

Will a 7th gen LTZ rear bumper swap out with a 6th gen? I figure it should seeing as the real change from 6 to 7th gen was in the front.

I think the only thing you'd have to worry about is how your exhaust will line up with the bumper. The 7th gen LTZ bumper, like that on my 3LT, has cutouts on each side for dual exhaust.

I mean I would think they would all fit. As far as the front bumper swap that could work if you swapped the hood and front fenders as well

I'll keep you posted...I'm only planning on swapping the rear though.

That was the plan actually -- I think it looks better having the actual cut-outs versus how the 6th gens just had the little bumps for the exhaust. I have the LS so as long as the original pipe on the right is lined up correctly, I'll have the exhaust shop make sure the left one fits when they bend the pipes. Finished off with some 3.5" tips and it'll look pretty good.
