Default BodyShop or Garage

I need somebody's help if they have done this. Its simple I have right now a sunroof panel on my ride and don't like it So I just brought the hard-top panel and I'm wondering can I do this in my garage or do I really have to take it to a body shop?? Any advise would help

I dont know your skill level or the tools you have but if you talking about removing the sunroof and replacing it with metal you may want to consult a pro. That seems like a big job for a beginner.

I'll second what Louis said. Sounds like a job for the pros.

Why do you want to delete the sun roof? Most people want to do the opposite.

Sounds like your referring to the headliner. If so It may not fit.

Well its not that i wanna delete it its just when i brought it it looks like somone flipped it over a bunch of times very big dents and rusted out and the only reason i got a hard top cuz a bodyshop closed dwn in my area and i picked it up for 50 bucks and its brand new so....but i guessin ur right guys i dont know **** about bodywork

You have to remove the front and rear glass, interior parts around the roof and glass as well as your sunroof, than cut the roof off and line the new one up take alot of measurements, glue it down and spot weld it up and re install everything
