Default body shop guys/gals?

after lightly tapping the car in front of me this morning in the icy rain (the other driver apparently didnt feel it as they drove off before i could say sorry) i slightly messed up my hood fender and headlamp lens. any good tricks to get the fender and hood close to normal? The hood is bent down onto the lens but i dont think the lens is broken and the fender is pulled in towards the hood. im afraid to open the hood without a game plan for fear of smashing the lens if i cant bend the hood back

Looks like you popped the paint on the hood, may rust ?,You maybe hit hood on under side with rubber mallet .. ,Fender push back out after you untighten fender bolts ...

You may also be able to wrap the hood with a rag and use a large set of pliers, it may bend back easily.

Just shut the hood gently... that plastic is pretty tough. The pliers could work. May have been a driver with no insurance who couldn't afford to stop... in which case you got lucky.

You might want to use some heat before trying to bend it back. Because that metal is now work hardened along that bend. Its hard to see but you could have some minor high and low spots because of the dent/bend. You should be able to just bend the bracket for the headlight back in place for front corner of the fender and the headlight to be back where they need to be.
