agreed, the spoiler would offer NO benefits to a front wheel drive car.
For aesthetics only....

 

In theory at least, the downforce on the back of the car should provide additional lateral traction. Its not useless - its like the Nascar front end splitters on the front of the RWD race cars. But it would mostly create drag.

This speedway conversion kit would also add a lot of weight since the kits are heavy fibreglass, not urethane.

 

iv actually never likes spoillers like those mostly because you always see them on rice burners trying to act like they are from the Need 4 Speed movies.
There are a few that i do like but im pefectly fine with the pace car spoiler.

 

The Intimidator III spoiler in the other hand, that was kinda neat.
Too bad they don't exist anymore

 

I actually made an effort to contact Xenon a while back to see if they had any Intimidator III spoilers lying around, unsold...NO LUCK. too bad I really
want that spoiler too.

I've seen a monte carlo with an actual wing on it (looked like it was off of an Impala or something) not too long ago at walgreens & it looked horrible bcuz of the lump in the trunk. Neat idea & would prob look a hell of a lot better without out lil lump

 

This is correct. It was made by dealership design. And the SLP spoiler was just like it...by SLP.
