Default Anyone had problems with projectors?

Recently purchased and installed a pair or anzo projector headlights.
Got them installed and they fit great and installed easily, however once installed and was testing them out, noticed the low beam (projector) light ouput seems weird.

The top edge of where they shine is almost the same as if someone were covering up the top quarter of a flash light with a peice of paper..
Is this normal? or something that can be done?
Also considering hid kit from ddm tuning, would this possibly solve my problem?

i cant speak from experience....but i would say the hid kit would help with the light output. the projectors i have seen seem like the light is cut at the top and bottom almost like it is a more focused beam

I think ill go for the hid kit and go from there..unless I am mistaken this would be what I need:
HID Kits, BMW Aftermarket Bumpers & Lighting, DEPO - DDM Tuning

Anyone know by chance if the bulb type would be the H11 still, as to my knowledge thats the one needed for stock monte head lights.

Still wondering about the bulb type for hid..anyone know this?

Also, slight side note..Do I need more posts or anything like that to make signature show up? It currently isn't even though I have one set.

Hm..must have fixed it..now it is showing up :P

Ever since i got my projectors, ive always notices the beams are really spontanious and flair out all over as though its not an even beam, im not sure if its because of how the bulb was sitting in the projectors or what... But i did think that HIDs would solve my problem only to find it would create more problems. I bought a pair of HID kits and after about a week they arrived to my dissapointment did not fit the aftermarket headlights. Should have known the bulbs would be different for projectors then stock. Anyways i exchanged the HID's for the right sizes for my aftermarket headlights and sure they fit but unfortunately i did have to cut my headlights to make them fit... Finally they are installed and of course it didnt fix my orriginal problem but hell man they look sick!!

What projectors do you have and what bulbs did you end up going with? I would agree on the beams being flared out and somewhat spontaneous..doesnt really make sense to me coming out of a round lense :S

I had to get H3's and H1's for my aftermarket ebay garbage healdights... Seeing as im on a headlight thread lemme ask those of you who have the same head lights as i do if youve experienced the side LED's flicker? Any fix?
