I know right now i just have to wait like a month and i should have it , painted and installed (fingers crossed )
I will miss the stripes but this will look just as good if not better

 

I think it will look better.
Maybe later you can somehow incorporate the stripes...somehow.
But for now, those hoods look great, and make any monte look mean.

 

are you going to completely do away with the stripes, as in on the trunk lid too, or leave those on and just replace the hood, and i'm with Jomao_o, if your spending the money to buy prep and paint the hood, you could probably go all the way and get the stripes redone, i think it'd look pretty damn sick

 

not that it wouldn't look mean with just the hood though, just thought i'd mention that too, haha

 

I'd find a way to keep the stripes too. I've seen it done before, I just can't find the pic of the one I saw with it all together at the moment

 

i think there is one on car domian thats deep blue with that type of hood with black stripes, i'll see if i can find it

hoods are a solid investment in your monte's look. im so happy i have mine. its crazy how many looks it pulls. i got mine before pfyc.com reduced price,it was at like 750. my hood was about $1200 total.

next on my list: im gonna repaint the entire car deep blue metallic

except the hood scoop, side skirts, and the spoiler. they will stay black

hey thank you for the input on the stripes I think I might just do some ghost stripes in like a Pearl white on the white we will see when i get the hood and we will go from there
