Just wondering was it possible to swap front ends on the gen 6 and 6.5. I searched on here and didnt come up with anything so sorry if this has already come up.

 

are you talking the bumper and everything? you would need the hood, from bumper, corner panels (i think), and headlights. Im not sure if it bolts right up and not sure if anyone has done it yet but im sure it can be done, may just need lots of modifying

 

I think somone was looking at this before and the consensus was that it would be better and cheaper to sell the 6th gen and buy a 6.5.

But if your dead set on the front of a 06-07 then by all means I'm sure it CAN be done, with time and $ anything is possible.

 

Bumper, grills, headlights, fenders, and hood. And I'm guessing more underneath because it probably won't snap/bolt right together.

 

I live in the chi and i know at least 2 people who has done this. One was a chick who reared sumbody and swapped out her front end for 6.5 gen and another was a guy who did it for the heck of it. It can be done.

 

My main thing is if its not almost a straight bolt on its not worth it for me, thanks for the info guys.
Rell do you know what all parts wee needed other than the obvious hood, fenders, bumper, and lights?
