5th gen aftermarket headlights

if i can afford it i might do it
would you recommend this?
The lumina and MC headlights are identical.
I baked mine in the oven to remove the lenses and removed the metal reflector inside the low beams. It spread the light out a little more, but the light output was still pretty poor. Regardless, I ran those lights for 2+ years with no accidents haha... and nobody ever flashed their brights at me or anything.

not sure I'd recommend it... only because I'd feel bad if it didn't go well and you cracked your lenses or something haha. There definitely was a slight improvement, but for the work it took and the stress of worry about screwing up, I'm not sure.
I baked them at 200 deg. for like 5 minutes and then every 2 minutes after that I pried at them until it felt like they would come off. Save the original glue because after you get the reflectors off I did the process in reverse, pushing the lens back onto the housing until it felt secure, then snapped the clips back on. I don't know if I was lucky, but I got a perfect seal and never got any condensation after that. I'll try to find my thread on mymonte if anybody wants to go for it.

That's Markos Monte, he was a member of MM yearrrsssss ago I believe. I think those lights were made from Dodge Intrepid aftermarket lights IIRC
