3rd gen. hood work
Hey guys,I need a bit of help and hope maybe some one here can give it to me.I'm too new to be able to post pics but my problem is this:I have a 79 Monte Landau with a couple smallish dents in the center ridge of the hood. The usual auto body places cant help me-I've tried.I cant find a new hood-tried that too.I know absolutely nothing about fiberglass replacements and tbh would prefer to keep metal if I can.Help please!!!I love my car and besides the hood it needs a new interior which as it turns out is the easiest to replace. The body is straight and beautiful 'cept for a hole under the pedals-again that isnt that much of a problem.Any advice, opinions,or help is much appreciated.

cool thanks man.I looked at both those myself, luckily I have found a donor monte-78-that has a hood in most xcellent condition.BrandXgarage said they were able to find me someone that makes the hoods, both flat and scooped out of metal.Although they didnt have the flat in stock at the time they did have cowl hoods.Their website doesnt mention monte's,I had to call, but like I said they were able to find a manufacturer.
