Ok I have a question for anyone that has the right answer. I was looking at my Monte carlo brochure. And I don't see anything as far as graphic's for the 2006 or 2007. Like Justin has on his car or something other.So did the factory offer any ?

 

Nope, there were no official GM pace cars or anything for the 06/07.

Some company did "nascar inspired" versions and they had stripes and special wheels and such though

Thanks Mike. I love that 427 hood scoop on that Monte. And maybe the wheels. I'd also like to stick those stripes on my M/C also.

 

Thanks Justin: I also looked at what you sent me. I downloaded that when I 1st joined here. But I have the dealership brochure and there was nothing said about any SS graphic's. Thats why I had to ask. Thanks both of you for your help. Might get a price on someone doing that same stripe on my Monte thats on that Monte you sent me Mike.

 

I had a question. Since some company did this does that mean that its ok to have officially liscened pace car or whatever the badge says on it is? Or would it technically be false advertising since it was made? Sorry just had the thought I knwo it was random

Depends, if they were truly officially licensed, then no harm no foul, if not, it's just a cheesy badge. BTW - Notice winged logo that said "specialty truck"??

 

They probably paid GM to use the words officially licensed
