Hello As ive said befor i was thinking about painting the lip kit of my o5 silver monte carlo. I just like the look of the 2 tone red and blacks. soo im going with my owe blue. 03-05 Chevrolet (WA815K Arrival Blue Met) (Driver Design Code (91)) It will look sweet i think.

just few questions.

has anyone ever taken just the lip kit off an SS montecarlo? i see thiers just the standard gm plastic clips on the bottem. Just more consered about how its mounted to the body of the car soo snug? any infor would be great.

also thinking with same blue painting the 2 arms that run over the battery and air filter box. and all the red ss symbols will be painted the same blue and possibly the engine cover.. trying to work on a photo shop right now to show some pictures.

Sounds awesome. Im not sure if the lips come off, or if you have to mask off them.

 

it comes off pretty simple you just need the right tools phillips head screw driver and a small socket dont remember which one exactly maybe a 10mm. Shouldnt take long

 

In the wheel wells there are bolts, and then along the car it's a series of those plastic clips (you most likely will break one or two)

 

ok yea i seen plastic clips im more conser about like any clips behind the kit that is mounted to the car that i shouldnt just rip off?
