Are the Monte Carlo and SS badges on the rear fenders the same size as on the trunk? Our Monte Carlo badges are missing. The prior owner simply put two SS badges on.

 

I think that's how 2004 monte carlo ss came only with ss on side..

 

I see em both ways but to answer your question the side emblems are larger than the rear ones

The 04 Monte SS from the factory did NOT have Monte Carlo scripts on the rear quarters, just the SS.
The Monte Carlo SS badging on the trunk is shorted then on the rear quarters.
The passenger side SS badge will need moved if you want to add the Monte Carlo scripts (otherwise it will read SS Monte Carlo).

I contacted ZSPOT from www.NAIOA.com and he hooked me up with Silver Monte scripts and a new SS badge. I updated my badging on my Monte, you can check the before and after shots here:

Yep my blue 04 Monte SS only has red SS on the side (going to change that though)
