Default 06-07 SS Hoods

Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone had any info leading to a carbon fiber hood for an 06 Monte SS. I've seen the MPD Ram air hood, and I really do like the style, but I was thinking that something in unpainted carbon would look good on my black SS. Any thoughts or experiences with hood mods would be greatly appreciated! Thanks a lot!

I've never seen anything in carbon fiber for monte carlo's it's more of an import thing IMO, you can probably have one build but the price will be very high I'm assuming

Never seen anything. I would say the wrap is your only choice.

The main reason I was going for carbon was weight and durability, but I'll probably just save up and get the MPD. I really like the style. Thanks for your help!

Saving weight on the front of a car in a FWD car isn't the smartest anyway. You want more weight on the drive wheels.

x2 you dont want it lighter where the drive wheels are it would be a bad thing imo but the mpd hood does look good on our cars

Will be cool to see it if you go with a wrap that has the carbon fiber look, should be good looking either way though good luck with the hood man.
