any idea on where to find an 06-07' ss trunk spoiler for my 02'

 

Good Luck with that! They are super hard to come by. I found mine on craigslist out of plain luck. Another member found his at Morad parts, also plain luck, and lots of effort (he checked weekly to see if one came in). So if you are patient and look in all places, you may eventually find one.

You can try Ebay too...But stay away from the ones that say 00-07 nascar spoiler. These spoilers are really only good if you have no spoiler at all, and need to drill holes anyway. Plus they do not go onto the trunk lid as far as the 06-07 spolier does.

They are VERY hard to come by if you don't want to by it new and primed for $400 from GM itself. Just look daily and hope it doesn't take you 2 years like it took me.

 

Does that spoiler line up with the bolt holes on his car? I've read on this forum that one of the 06-07 spoilers bolts right up....

I take it your '02 came with the surfboard style spoiler? Or do you have the pace car spoiler? I know these two trunk lids have different bolt patterns.

 

06-07 Stand-up spoiler lines up perfectly with 00-05 surfboard.

Sorry to hijact, what about the Xenon spoilers? do they need drilling too? or can they just bolt in? thanks for any info. ^.^ again, didn't mean to hijact but didn't want to start another thread.

 

Xenon spoilers do NOT line up with the surfboard holes, because the surfboard goes onto the trunk lid much further, where the Xenon doesn't.

Plus the Xenon ones are ugly
