hm. Wish I would have found this thread earlier.
Mine is a shortened version of Miller Lite. Milrlyt is my license plate, a nickname I had in elementary school because of my last name and my being a short little girl. Stuck with me ever since. The beer reference is just an extra twist on the name.

I use the name Possum everywhere - car forums, auction sites, clubs, at home and abroad. I work at a Wildlife Rescue Center in Missouri, and they're my favorite animals. There are two baby possums in my back yard cage right now (I'm fattening them up for release in a month).

My name goes back to when I was a freshman in highschool 11 or 12 years ago. One of my assignments in my computer class was to open up an email account. I wanted to think of something unique, but nothing was coming to me. While I was trying to figure out what I should use for an email name, I looked down and realized that my fly was down. It clicked after that.
From then on I've used "zipper" for most of my internet stuff. The z in zipper is also lower case on purpose for two reasons. The first and main reason is that I never wanted attention to be given to me, but to what I present. The second reason is that I like that look of it
