Hi MCF,
I have notice that the new post area has been getting smaller of late. I figure folks are either Very busy or their Montes are running at Peak Performance.
So I figured I would start this thread to ask,
"How's Your Monte Doing?"
Is it great, better than it was before, giving you headaches, stored for the winter, in the shop.....

My Monte is OK. She still has some problems to work out, Electrical and Trans, But over all I would say she isMuch Better than she was before. Meaning when I bought her! She is sometimes a pain in the Butt, but I bought her knowing that she would need a lot of TLC, and she would help me learn a lot more about cars. And I Love working on her. She's my Baby!!!!! 
Mines a few days from being stored....Going to attend the club meet on the 19th that Matt has posted... After that its stored for the winter... I have a few things in mind I'd like to accomplish over the winter.

I'd be preparing to winterize soon, but looks like that will be coming in early November due to some non-Monte things I can't control lol.

Minor things need to be done to mine over the winter including brakes and pads and I am thinking a CV axle is starting to go. Other than that it is running really good. I also have some fun things planned for this winter while it sits waiting for the nice weather again.

Mine is running excellent. Just put all new rotors and pads on it last weekend and changed my oil. Other than that it's been just running great for a long time with no issues. I'm at 193K right now, so probably won't do anything but put gas in it and drive it until 200K, then I'll do a FULL service on every fluid, spark plugs, filters, etc...Thinking 200K will happen in December.
Do you have 5k on it yet Mel? Haha
The Monte is having some weird electrical problems, the intake or engine sure has been whiizzing a lot lately, the whine from the power steering is crazy bad, and there are a few cosmetic things to take care of....quite a few lol. Sigh, her age is showing.
