Forget them Augi. If they want to be closed minded and ignorant like that, screw `em. They don't know what they're missing.
Soo true co-worker freaked out when my front tires smoked ,he thought all monte's are rear wheel drive ...

You know, that is the big reason I love my car so much. Only true car enthusiasts like it. It really helps weed out the nonbelievers

tell ya what, i'd love for it to be rwd, but in the snow it's 10x better to be front wheel drive. . . . now if only i can get people to drag in the winter. . . lol

I did the same thing haha it only took one and a half car loads to get all my stuff including a large 4 speaker stereo system

I hate to admit I used to be a rear wheel drive snob, specifically Mopars, but with the last two door rear wheel drive Mopar rolling off the line in 1983, I learned to broaden my horizons. I don't build my cars to have insane horsepower these days (I'm much more into following my kids in sports, playing guitar, taking care of my elderly father, etc.), so it really doesn't matter that much to me which end the power goes to. My Pace Car has decent power, decent gas mileage and turns heads wherever it goes, even though its front wheel drive. The same thing goes for my '90 Dodge Daytona.
I have to admit though, if I were to get into drag racing, I'd probably look for a rear wheel drive GM or Chrysler platform to build on. Possibly a V8 Mustang, even though I've had less than good luck with Fords...

You know you drive a Monte Carlo, because your windshield reads "MONTE CARLO" in big, bold letters.
