The 5 post minimum only applies to posting pics, voting in polls, using PM's, and reading the classified section. New members can always ask questions, post replies.

Unfortunately it was necessary. Spammers were causing major problems for both the forum, and the members. The owners did what they felt was necessary. I know it's an inconvenience. But it's a minor one in comparison to what was happening before.

must be a cop.... that's awesome! I'm just being biased right now. Have you ever been stopped because you were driving your car home with the flasher's on and they stopped you because you didn't have a PLATE light? Wasn't speeding! It was ????? Thanks for your advice. I have to deal with what I have around me!

They didn't stop you for the license plate light. They just found a reason to pull you over to check you out.

I actually got pulled over last year in MS because my license plate light was burned out (I didn't know it or would have fixed it). He said it was the only reason he stopped me. Having an out of state plate (AL) probably didn't help. Luckily I wasn't speeding. He only gave me a warning, but apparently in MS I could have received a citation / fine.

rowdy there are a-hole cops out there, but I find that I have the best luck when I remember they are just doing there job. 99% I have dealt with are great. Even the cop that pulled me over 29 times in 3 months to lecture me about my clear corners I had. He was just doing his job. Every time I have been pulled over it has been for a legitimate reason. Hope you get your problem solved and can avoid being pulled over.
