Really?? That's strange both of the dealerships asked me if I wanted them to remove the window sticker or keep it on....they said some people want it left on, I said they can remove it, and they did so and neatly folded it and put it in with the rest of my paper work, haven't really touched them since.

And remember to some people these are just cars, and those are just pieces of paper so they toss them without a second thought of how much someone would want them...of course when you buy a new car, the last thing you think about is keeping paper work for the next owner that really isn't to important to said person cause they aren't car people.

And Dang $40 is a lot of money imo for a reproduced window sticker.

Maybe it was just the Pontiac dealership I bought the G.A. from.

I've reproduced my window sticker for my car show sign. I suppose it would be pretty easy to reproduce any 6th gen Monte Carlo SS's window sticker. The only info that I would not no is the dealership info.

I've got the window sticker from my truck but I'm sure I won't get it when I get my Intimidator. This is good info for future reference.

Just read info on that link Mel posted & the vehicle invoice thing that includes a bunch of stuff if 50 bucks & I read that they cannot actually make a re-pro of the window sticker which sucks but it would be cool to have the other stuff in the invoice package. I also read that most records are destroyed after 10 years sooo I'd better make sure I get it within the next 3 years lol

I checked out the GM Heritage Center link. I'm sorry to say, for $50 I'm not impressed. They print out a picture of the microfiche image, scan it, and email the scanned image to you in PDF format.

Brittany, what other stuff are you talking about? I must have missed the rest of the package.

Info from GM Heritage Center's website:
The vehicle invoice collection is the documentation of the vehicle cost broken out by model and factory options. It contains the original ship to dealer information, MSRP and invoice number that General Motors used to bill the dealer. The collection is archived on microfilm, microfiche, CD and is organized by VIN number. The collection covers almost all cars & trucks produced in the U.S. starting in the mid 1970's.* Vehicle Invoices are printed from microfilm or microfiche then scanned and emailed as an Adobe PDF for $50 USD.

didn't Brian (JAFO) recently (few months) get a new job at a chevy dealership? I wonder if he can dig up anything where he works?
