Window Dealer Sticker thing...
Hey guys! So I was just wondering something. I could have swore I saw a thread about this on another forum but I was rushing & didn't get time to read it all & forgot to bookmark it....is there any place I can go to get a copy of the original dealer window sticker thing that was with my car at one point of time. I believe my dad told me that we are second owner of her & that she had a new york title when we got her so idk if that'll help or what. Idk if I gotta go through GM or what to get it but I would absolutely loveee to have it

Oh, man!
I remember discussing reproduction window stickers here on this forum a couple years ago. I'm thinking one of the 4th gen owners like Cort or RJ may remember the info you're looking for. In the mean time, I'll try looking around the archives to see if I can find the info from the old forum.
Edit: my memory was wrong. Deleted incorrect info.

I found one old thread that mentions the company I was thinking of.
https://montecarloforum.com/forum/monte-carlo-repair-help-8/using-vin-find-original-dealer-6809/
Triple A Enterprises was the company that according to Chevy Customer Assistance offers reproduction window stickers for 1959 and up. Except for 1981 and up Corvettes and Cadillacs.

Dang I didn't think there were companies that reproduced them, I still have both of mine, but I tend to keep all paper work for my cars. Good Luck hope you find a company that makes them, and out of curiosity let us know how much they charge if you don't me asking.

I don't know why people can't keep this stuff with the car. I owned 3 vehicles with window stickers and I made sure they went with them to their new owners. It also really irks me when you have a special edition like my Pace Car or one of the NASCAR Montes and the authenticity paperwork is long gone. I also don't understand why people keep the owner's manuals.

Most of the time, the window stickers are toss in the trash by the dealership when they're sold new. That's what happened with the window sticker when I bought my 99 Grand Am GT brand new. That happens especially with cars that aren't considered collectible.
As far as the certificates of authenticity and owner's manuals. I think some people just want to keep them for souvenirs or sell them online to people like us.
