As a truck owner I honestly think they'll never go away. I've had a few trucks so far and when I getrid of one I always seem to find myself getting another one. The last time I sodl my truck my 01 ram sport I sold it to save on gas and be able to afford to go more places. About 2 days after I sold it I started thinking uh oh how am i going to move to my new apartment, then i started think ouch how am i going to ge tto my secret fishing spot with a car. Well evetually i got back to a truck and honestly after ownign my first one i dont think I could go without one no matter the gas price.

Never say never. Back in the early eighties no one thought rear wheel drive cars would disappear from American roads. You can now count on one hand how many new rear drivers are left.

I feel like a hybrid is just going to ADD WEIGHT and really not help.

We need to just switch to diesel engines or small engines with a turbo or 2.
