If it was me, I'd be starting with an L32 conversion. That's just me personally though

The L32 is the Series III version of the L67. Heads flow better and the Gen V M90 is better in stock form than a ported Gen III M90. Bone stock 260hp. Only thing is it's DBW (but you can get an 06-07 SS pedal that will work just fine or one from an 04-05 Grand Prix GTP or Comp-G, 05-08 GXP, or 06-07 GT). The only thing is that any pulley drops require more mods than with the L67. For example, the 3.4 pulley on an L32 is like a 3.25 pulley on an L67. If I were keeping my Monte I'd be preparing for exactly that. At the very least I'd be using a Gen V M90 with an adapter plate to run the Gen III throttle body.

That's the short story on the L32. I can go more into detail if you want.

Ah no nothing that drastic. The Deuce is my hot rod.... I would like to get a SLP grille for Sally and paint her ground effects and lower grille silver (she is blue) and some other little odds and ends.

Aww I was getting excited, thinking someone was gonna have fun with their engine. Haha. I haven't been able to scratch the mod itch for quite a while so I'm having to live vicariously through other people's mods.

Sounds like a great choice! Was the s10 a stick? Maybe the appraiser can't drive a manual?
