Well, finally someone starts a football thread! I've been chomping at the bit to discuss, but not many members seem very interested. I've never been so into football! It's an awesome season for me because I am a Broncos fan, and they will win the SuperBowl this year!!! I just got a new Demaryius Thomas Elite road jersey yesterday - its cool. I like Manning a lot, but I can't bring myself to wear a #18 - any guesses why? Here's a hint: Thomas is #88
I've got this sport figured out and lead the football pool at work. I got everyone in the pool cornered (other than my wife and I'm really proud of her for that too). After the Broncos win Sunday, either her or I will have clinched the live-changing $200 purse without another game starting, each of us only calling one playoff game wrong (but they different games as we pick completely independant). Even in the highly unlikely event that the Broncos lose, I'll likely still win the money.

I did pick the 49er over the Seahawks. Kaepernick really impressed me against GreenBay. The 49er were unpopular as pool pick (I still had 'em) cause that was a cold friggin game and the 49er's are allegedly "not a cold weather team". My a$$!!! Rodgers had his hood and sleeves and sweater and who know how many layers. Kaepernick was out they bare armed and unphased and taking it to the ground. The guy's a freak! (in a good way)

I'm not an avid football fan like I used to be, but nostalgia wins for me and I'm rooting for the 49's, I was a big fan back in their heyday with Rice, but unfortunately life got in the way and it was one of my hobbies that was put to the back burner

Well I am hoping and rooting for the 49er's, but i wouldn't mind the seahawks either.
Since my team is out, i could really careless, i just don't want Tom Brady winning (Being a Dolphins fans, i have an special hatred for the Patriots, only other AFC East fans will understand)
And i know, It's in the Peyton Manning handbook, he will choke in the big game with a big interception.
But Seattle is without Percy Harvin this week! that's a big time player!
Lets go niners!
