i just hit 120,000 miles on my oem motor and tranny in my 96 monte ls. the only this i had to do was the water pump, lower intake gasket, manually clean a couple fuel injectors, a idle control sensor on the throttle body, thats it. P.S brakes as well but what monte doesnt have to replace those lol

I know... darned things have like 3 bolts and 2 fittings holding the alternator bracket to the engine/water pump, 3 bolts holding the alternator to the bracket, and a serpentine belt, so why would it need one more support brace? Seems a tad on the overkill side to me.
