Why is it every single woman you talk to who knows of Connery wants to take this ol' geezer home for a night? I tell my g/f he's old enough to be her grandfather but she says she doesn't care?

Connery was fine as Bond but Roger Moore is my favorite.

In 1983 when Octopussy was out so was the Connery release of Never Say Never Again. It was confusing!!!!!

I still went to see both.

My $0.02 worth Timothy Dalton was the worst Bond and they should have let Pierce Brosnan have it years before they did.

ORIGINAL: Cowboy6622

just a white dinner jacket actually... smoking jackets are usually made of a shiny, wool like material, and wrap around more than that. but thanks
Thanks for the correction. Living in Cali, I can't remember the last time I owned or bought any jacket.

Sean Connery is "James Bond", and always will be. Just like Harrison Ford is "Indiana Jones", and always will be. As a matter of fact, Connery has even captured the title of Indiana Jones' father.

No question Connery was the quintessential 007, and none of the others come close.

So does that mean George or Christopher is Superman?

What about Wonder Woman?

I'm always amazed at "From Russia with Love" and "Dr Who" and their lack of Bond contraptions.

i think those movies were the best, they focused more on the characters and plot advancement than neat contraptions.

I think it was in a 1970s Playboy (I only bought them to look at the pictures. I mean read the articles) they asked if Bond would be a popular if he didn't have all the cool toys?

I was in like 2nd grade my mom made mego to the movies with my cousin to see Goldfinger. I didn't want to go. My middle sister did but my mom wouldn't let her.
