Thank the lord I don't have to subject my Monte to the salt - I have as you guys like to call it - an 05 Rustang as a bad weather every day car. (I don't think that name is very nice though )

 

Yeah I can't stand the salt and snow either...It's very annoying...
I really want to move south to get away from the long winters, but I have just too comfortable in this state. I mean, come on our biggest city is 90,000. What can get better than that? I love the wide open spaces.

My mom wants a Rustang, but I told her to save her money and wait a few years to buy a corvette

 

yeah i hear ya on the small town thing but ya knwo they have them down there to.
belive me i lived in Omaha Ne. forsomeof my life and i coudl not stand it for the cold alone. Also lived in onaway Mi. it is just to cold. and Clevland i left for the same reson.

any more it is not even a option i hurt so bad i cant stop it to be in cold is like being torcherd daily.
for me to walk after about Nov. i have to go get cortixone shot in my knee. yeah i could live with out it LOL
the back hurts also but that is a whole other story.
So when we were asked where to go after the service i told her i know wher eim going if she wanted to follow then that is fine but if she had her heart set to go back north i would visit 3 months a year LOL

All my friends there are pretty freaked out. The FBI stopped them on their way out yesterday asking all sorts of questions.

On the flipside, I got a call from TSA recruitment on Tuesday that my FBI background check came in clear and I just have to do my medical exam before my hire. So I'm pretty excited about that.

True dat! Yeah thanks. What I like about it too is that this job is really portable. I can transfer almost anywhere. My wife is tired of living here in Las Vegas and wants to move somewhere closer to family. We were looking at Texas (maybe San Antonio) because we can take a direct flight back to the islands from there, and it's not too far over to the east coast. Sorry to anybody who might be offended, but I prefer the west coast.

The major qualm I have about TX is that the property tax is so high there. They haven't capped it like they did here.
