yeah i hear ya but still means the payments dont go away .

So with the payments. and also the dealer not being what htey used to be it is almost a irritant more then a hate to do . At least for me i just felt that the dealer here ruined for me.
but then this was my first Brand new car that was never drove from someone else and that was not a dealer car.

Hi `Chris,
The Book is just a estimate of a car's worth.
There are many variable's to make an approximate,
or tentative judgment regarding the price on your Monte Carlo
<experts estimated the value by supply & demand, age, conditon,
etc...
What matter's most, is what it's worth to you : )
I know I would not sell mine @ trade in values,or at wholesale : (
Be `Happy, you have a beautiful Monte Carlo : )

Grandpa `Dave, I still think it's sad [X(]that a consumer takes
over a $10K lose (hit), by just driving a Monte Carlo off the lot,[X(]
compared to a Honda or Toyota [X(]
I don't know what your LTZ Retailed for new, but it's in the high $20K

Below is the book that most dealers in my area are using. Thanks for your post/infor GP`Dave.__________________________________________________ _____Auto Black Book Car Values, a service of the National Auto Research Division of Hearst Business Media Corporation, is considered the leading source of used vehicle valuations for the automotive industry! Since 1955 thousands of automotive dealerships and lending institutions have used Auto Black Book's Car Values evaluations to determine precise values for used vehicles. In a recent year Auto Black Book Car Values distributed more than 6 million pricing guides, presented in both electronic and printed guidebooks, to its business clients.
Auto Black Book's Car Values team of auto experts visually inspect the used cars, trucks, and vans sold at auctions throughout North America every week. The condition of the vehicle, the equipment and options on the vehicle that affect the value, and the mileage and selling price, are immediately rushed to Black Book headquarters. The Auto Black Book Car Values experts use this very comprehensive data and also take into consideration numerous other factors - including weather conditions at the auctions, number of similar vehicles on the market, and the prices from the previous weeks sales - before updating the values of all the vehicles. No other guide offers this level of service to the public at any price!
