ya can find ones that are OK from a private seller for a couple hundred $'s.... trust me, i know firsthand just gotta look around a bit. i had my '65 buick when i was 14... the oldsmobile wagon came when i was about 15, and i bought my ls when i was turned 16... even without my liscance, it occupied my time, i washed the crap outta it, listened to the radio in it, drove it around the block ( typically not a good idea )...

wow looking back on it i realize now how bad my first car was. i got it when i was 17 from my dad for 500 bucks. 1992 pontiac sunbird le. 290,000 miles and just about every light in the dash was out lol. but like any 17 year old kid would do......it had a sound system that cost me more than the car

yeah I've always liked trucks too. Dad started me out driving a van around the farm when i was around 11 or 12, so i was used to big vehicles. i had a dodge after the chevy - but it turned out to be way too light for what it was, just didn't drive the same. eventually ended up with a 79 toyota 4wd that was a rust bucket but fun. wish i had a truck now, but not practical for the kids unless i get a 4 door, and don't want to spend that kind of money.

LOL, I want a tank for my son that he can't drive very fast and I have this overwhelming urge slap every "student driver" sticker I can find on it

Would love to see the pics. Mine was a result of no way to take a good clear shot of the cars since we only have room to line them up down the drive. Everywhere you look there is a house in the way.

Actually... just saw the pics pop up while previewing the post. Pretty neat! You've got enough montes you could do some real cool stuff combining pics of them all
The pics are a result of using the panaramic setting on the camera. You snap one pics (say starting on the left) then snap the second and third pics wherever you think they may look the best? Then let the camera stitch then together for you. Your choice whether to keep the finished picture of not.

Just so happens one day in september at a large cruise-in I took a photo of the '86, and '03 Monte's taillights, and a photo of a friend's '77 Monte taillight. So I had the '77, then '86, then '03 taillights in that order.

Somehow my computer erased it plus all the photos from the cruise-in?

My first car was a 1952 chevy 4dr. 216 cu. in. with a 3 speed . I was working at steak n shake and making .75 per hr. Took me a long time to save the 75.00 I paid for the car. Man what a back seat it had.......................

You know, my camera has that setting and I never thought of using that way. Good idea! I'll have to play around with it some. I just always crop and paste stuff together on my computer.

My 84 Monte SS was my first car, but it doesnt really count. I still havnt driven it legally haha. I actually got my FIRST license suspension in that car (driving without insurance) just driving it around the block :p. Cost me three months without my license. So my first real car was an 02' Ford Focus sedan. I had it for 30 days before it was totalled (rear-ended at a stop sign) then a 97' Tacoma lifted 8 inches on 33's. sold it after 8 months. now my daily is an 06' Cobalt Ls. and of coarse i still have the monte
