My first car was a 66 Chevy Caprice 2 door, 283 and a powerglide, butternut yellow with a black top, black interior with the strato-bench. I could not find a picture of my car, so I borrowed this one from the internet. I sure liked that car, it was kind of a P.O.S., but it was all mine, and it was freedom, when it was running.

After the second engine, I bought a 67 Camaro rs. It had a "warmed over" 350, powerglide with a high stall, and 12 bolt with 3:73 gears. That sucker was fast. Once again, I could not find a picture of my car, so I got one off of the internet. betteroffdead67camaro.jpg
The next was a 77 Firebird Formula, TA6.6, yellow and black. That was a super nice car, but then again it was only a few years old at the time.

I'm so jealous, all you guys had cool first cars.
Mine was a 73 Chevy Custom truck my dad got for me that had been used as a farm truck. It was one year older than me, so 18 yrs old when I got it. White on the bottom, red on the top that had faded to an odd reddish orange. Gun rack in the window, huge bug shield on the front, and a big dent/gash down the side where PO had hung it on a tree. LOL, a girl gets really picked on by the guys showing up in the high school parking lot in that.
It got me everywhere I wanted to go though - and fast - until mom made me get rid of it a year later because of the whole exploding gas tank when you get hit in the side thing. She actually recorded everything she saw on TV about it to show me.

LOL, only if you looked at the right side of it while squinting, but boy could it go I'll have to find my pic of it to post. I did really appreciate my dad for getting it for me though.
