chibiblacksheep my montes got the 3.1.... hasn't crapped out yet. Ha wait till after winter and I'll get back to you on it tho
Well my first car is the 1998 Monte Carlo LS I've had pics of, and in my sig. Bought it a little over a year ago before I got my license, joined this forum when I wanted ideas of what I wanted to do to it, and have always stuck around. Hell I use to hate the body style and almost everything about the car, but for Christmas I got a few things that made it more "bearable" I'll throw up a thread sometime when its all installed.

This is what you posted that will not show up.

This is what it should look like with out the space between [img] and the address. Notice the difference from yours. Yours did not have the .jpg ending. Does that make sense? You have to link to each picture not just the thread. Hope that helps.

A '93 Silverado and then this Monte Carlo.. the Silverado was alright, not much fun to be had unless you're offroading though. There's only 2 reasons to own a truck in my opinion, either you need one for working, hauling things around, or you go off roading in it. I just drove dad's truck that we used for hauling stuff around to school for a year and a half until I proved I could handle a car without crashing, and then my parents matched what I would put into a car and I got the Monte!!!
I bit like this one... only a lighter shade of green.

I wish my first car would've been as cool as Dale3goodwrench's old Monte.
But my first car was a 1985 Cavalier Type 10 hatchback. 90 Horsepower Baby!!! WOO! Feel the breeze in your hair.

This IS my very FIRST car.
'57 Chevy BelAir 2-door Hardtop. In july we'll be together 38 years.
First car I ever drove. 1966 Sinca. Mopar shipped them here from France.
My dad bought the car new. He needed something Mopar to be able to park in their parking lot. At the time Mopar had a restriction, unless they sold it, you parked someplace other then at one of their plants.
Our car was a white 4-door. My youngest sister and I had to share the car once I got to "legal" driving age. She blew the engine up one night. She was suppose to be working. Instead she was out with a group of her friends drinking.
PS. they poured beer on the burning engine.
