I like the Vette. It would be a reasonable replacement for the BudChev, heaven forbid anything were to separate us. But I have no intentions of ever replacing the BudChev. My second Car needs to be a baby carrier, so I'd still have to go with the Elantra.

I once did a quick little light-to-light (hardly a serious street race, which I don't believe in) against a Vette that looked just like that and spanked him - believe it or not. I didn't believe it myself. It was actually a buddy who was driving it off his car lot and he swears he couldn't catch me. He was pretty impressed. He used to come into my store all the time with some little hopped up VW or Lexus and challenge me all the time, but he stopped doing that after losing in the Vette.

I wouldn't mind having a C4 or C5 in good condition.

Is hte whole Corvette vs. compact car a serious questoin? If money is no issue, then the Corvette... if real life and money become an issue, kind of like hwaT JuniorCar was alluding to in a baby carrier, then you may need the 4 door compact... but for a true car enthusiast, most of us are taking the Corvette.

I could be the smart *** and just claim I already have what I want in my signature though :-D

LOL `Duane, what do you mean you could `be ? LOL

The point of the poll is that `if a person had $25K to invest for a car and had to choose between a new compact car with decent MPG's, warranty/etc or get a Super Clean, Low Mile, like new Corvette. ?

2nd Point is to get our member's involved & create activity on our forum & see what they would choose `if they were in this position to decide....
