I have never owner a clunker, or anything that was a piece of crap. I've loved all my cars, and they have all been reliable (all Chevy's)

However, my cousin had a 1993 Geo Storm for a while. It sounded like a lawn mower, total hunk of crap, but it was pretty reliable. We used to call it the mighty Geo...LOL

I'll chime in. Mine wasn't a car, but a truck. An '86 Ferd F250 HD 4x4. Combination wood hauler/plow truck/DD. I put money into that truck the whole time I owned it. The motor finally quit holding oil pressure. I had everything from the heater core to the brakes (on Christmas eve), and so much other stuff go bad, that THAT was the vehicle that put me over to the GM side to stay. NEVER got better than 10 mpg with it.
Switched to GM and never looked back.

One of my cousins used to own a Metro. He and his wife are on the large size and it was pretty funny seeing them both squeezed in this tin can.

lol, my dad had a white '93 metro 4 door hatchback for about a year and a half... OMG that thing was funny, and suprisingly not the worst we ever had... started out with the 3cyl / auto with OD, it was lucky to go 60 mph on a downhill straightaway with a tailwind, lol.

the 3cyl lasted a week and a half, then it 'sploded from the stress of a route 80 commute at WOT... i found my dad a gas station that had 3 in the backlot, and a sazuki swift GTI, that was missing its turbo... so my dad got a used 3cyl, and also got the head from the swift, which was built to handle the turbo & make a few more HP...

put the engine in, find out that the old engine blew so violently it took out the auto trans... go back to the shop, only good trans the guy has is a 5 speed, but he has the whole setup, petels and all, $50. get it, out comes the new engine, old auto trans goes to the ever-growing junk heap, in goes the 5 speed, new petals & everything else....

my god, that thing was a RIOT, lol. it could burn the lil 13in tires off with no heasitation, and it would bury the nedle on the 90 mph spedo IN 4TH! lol, 1/2 the time my dad forgot to put it into 5th. it ate plenty of honda's up, thats for sure, lol. my dad would destroy the puny lil clutch almost monthly, he bought one with a no bs lifetime garuntee, the company musta hated him, lol. most times he would bring the chunks in a box, damn factory defects, lol. parts guys thought it was funny as hell... it got run down pretty quick ( naw, really?) and we junked it for $200... we were into it for mabe $200, lol.
