The monte is staying for a while for sure. As for the next car I don't know what it will be because my wife get to pick it out.(it's her turn she said ). She really does like those new camaros tho. we'll see.

I plan on keeping my monte it has been as reliable as any of the hondas I have owned. That being said I already have my next car, and just need to get a engine put in the camaro. At some point I will probably either trade the suburban in for a new one or get a crate motor and new running gear for it.

I had a highly modified WRX, it was the fastest car I have owned. I would take another one in a heartbeat.

In the near future I will likely have a Volvo wagon. This is killing me because it is close to the last car on earth I want!

My wife, who worked for the same company as me (we met at work), recently quit her job and took as service advisor gig at Jaguar/LandRover/Volvo/Mitsubishi of London. She used to hate those car, but the gig pays good. She's only been there a week and they already put there hooks in her and now she thinks a V70 is a practical solution. Thoses things start at $43,000 new! To get one in our modest $20,000 budget she'll have to get some '01-'03-ish. I can think of a million other $20,000 cars I'd rather own - several of them brand new!

She's not listening to reason, but I told her if she brings a Volvo wagon home she better find somewhere else to park it. I don't want the neighbours seeing that crap in my laneway.

Either way, the BudChev stays...
