Looks like you have a good plan. I really liked my Monte but I am a RWD guy. Really happy with the Mustang and shifting gears.
Good Luck and I agre as stated above, it may not be cheaper to sell yours and buy another DD.

Thanks! I too miss RWD and miss the POWER! lol

I'm thinking I may just keep the Monte clean, paint the side skirts body color and drive it like crazy.

I however won't pass up a good deal on a good shape 3800 grand prix that I can drive and not care so much about

Hey guys... Update here.. I'm looking for more stock stuff, I'm probably going to be selling the car back to my dad. I owe $1500 on it, I bought it for $4k. He will be giving me a $2500 check and calling it clear from there. I know it's worth more, but he's looking for a car and I'm not in the business of ripping my family off. Good news is I'll still be able to drive it when I want and if he sells it then we're both happy.

I'm probably going to look at buying a cheap manual vehicle so I can learn a little more and have the basics ready for a Camaro

Manual Cavalier with the Ecotec should make a decent DD (or a 98 Camaro cough cough)
