I'd say get junkyard seat, that way they all match and it'll look better. I believe anything from a monte or a lumina would work. Not 100% sure about the lumina.

If you're only replacing the driver seat go with what Keane said. Find a matching seat at a junk yard. But depending on the price and how ambitious you are, you could look for a good deal on the entire set from a Z34 and upgrade your interior. I wonder if the seats from a 90's Grand Prix would work? It would certainly open up your options a little.

^ that. Actually, i dont think you could do a leather conversion as i believe they only came in bucket style and you have column shift, so no center console and i'm guessing you have a bench seat in the front then. Junkyard either way will probably get your result, not sure about the grand prix

a bench seat from a lumina would be easyist, should be exactly the same. or you could swap buckets and a console, but if i'm correct most bucket seats for monte's / lumina's are power seats, which can be a pain to get working properly... you could swap the manual seat tracks from you're currant seat onto a set of power buckets though. other problem is that the 5th gen full length consoles are almost always broken in some way, usually the lid / armrest is busted. final problem for you is having a column shifter.

if it was me i'd swap buckets and a full length console, and make some kind of storage cubby where the console shifter usually goes.

Why do you say it's a pain to hook up power seats ??
On my 1985 chevy caprice I installed power seat . When I remove the manual seat I found that GM had the wires for power seat under carpet .

They did make a lumina with leather seats that didnt have a center console, but two bucket seats and a center console would look much better. When I had my lumina i did that. Then I just made the spot for the shifter a place for switches. I'll post a pic.
