One of my friends has an Alienware, its crazy fast but I think he spent a few thousand on it. Also check out Falcon Northwest and Voodo computers. Falcon Northwest builds very nice PCs.

If you wait a few weeks like 3 or so amd is gona drop the x2 prices by half, getting a dual core processor for 150 is a great buy. Or if you go to www.outpost.com they have combo's each week and you can get some really good deals.
