The Monte has become a fair weather car. I'm not sure how many miles I will actually rack up on it anymore.

Plus when I get a house / garage for it, it's being taken apart for my rebuild. She will be sitting for quite some time then

Although in 2020 it should have a nice classic plate on it

i have a 1978 monte with 230,000 on the odometer, but thats wrong. prob close to 80,000 on new motor and i have 234,000 on my 1988 s10 blazer but it has a newer motor too with prob 120,000 on it. both dont get drivn much anymore though. monte is sunny day car only and blazer is just my stump jumper toy.

 

Highest mileage car would be my monte at around 153,xxx and counting..

 

About 120k for me...

 

My s10 had 170000 or so on it. It had about 70000 when I got it. It was 1 year old my father in laws silvarado had 297000 when he traded it in.

 

my 96 monte carlo ls (got it with 160k) has around 230-240k on it not really sure i changed it from a column shifter to a floor shifter so i put in diff cluster (old one didnt wanna work all time) and it also made it so it wasnt as obvious that it was a column shift not 2 many problems with it, just intake gasket once and then normal things, now needs little more work has no spunk to it and my step brother now owns it. more think bout it ive never owned a car with less than 130k on it need get me sum newer cars

 

Out of all the things I've owned the 97 Grand am Gt had the highest at 161k 2nd highest was one of my winer beaters a 92 Lesabre that had 158k when I sold it.

 

My 05 Monte SS - I sold it with just under 95K on it.
