I'm not a huge ppol fan. maybe because too many little kids at the public pool. No pool at home but I know the fiance would love one. Staying indoors is usually a good way to keep cool...if you have central air. I dont haha just a couple window units. it gets pretty hot in here but pulling the shades and running a window unit in the room you're in the most helps a lot.

I spend my days in an even hotter paint booth so im used to the hot weather

We spend our free time in the family room in the basement with the kids where its cool.

Thats all i have for a/c is 3 window units. Only one i care about is the one in my room

Out basement is nice. I'd love to set it up as a hangout place it keeps nice and cool down there lol.

Our house is a work in progress. We bought it for 17k and had it valued at 38k. When we moved in I was fixing things and found out the previous owner caulked the windows shut so we have one window unit in the bedroom and one in the kitchen which is close to the living room but dosent blow much into it. Which sucks since my dvd collection, ps3 and laptop stand are all in that room.
