Hey guys, finals week is halfway over. I know I can do it!

Well, I am just checking in before I head out to the track for some test and tune and trophy racing. It's nearly 80 and moderately high humidity..so we will see what happens. My son in law is coming back out to race tonight...one time at the track racing last week and he is hooked!! I show no mercy at the track so he better not stage next to me...LOL

Well bad news and good news tonight
Took the 84 to the track and made two passes with her and she has obviously jumped timing!!! ARGHHH Had my daughter follow me home and barely made it. I had already paid 20 bucks to race so hopped in the 2002 Monte and headed to the track with the intentions of running her to get a time slip...LOL I threw a dial in on her first round of elimination.. Well...a few rounds later and I come home with a 2nd place trophy!!!! WOO HOO
Now it is supposed to rain Saturday and the next week Sportsman class does not run so I am hoping I can get the timing issue fixed. Time to start reading on this because I have NO CLUE!!! If they still end up running Saturday (because it does not rain too much) I WILL take the 2002 back out there and run her just to make sure I do not miss out on double points!!

 

Congratulations on the trophy. That's really cool. How did you celebrate? Some good whiskey usually works for me. Some people like champagne. Not me.

I celebrated by sending pics to everyone!! Honked all the way up the return road. Don't drink anymore so no alcohol involved.
Baby will get a good washing and waxing tomorrow so I can take a pic of her with her trophy!!
Then I have to figure out the timing issue on the 84!! LOL
