mornin folks, not much going on here. gonna try to mow the lawn before it rains, then later i'm off to te woodshop to make more planting cages for the chestnut orchard. only need 150 more, lol.

Well the tint shop killed my battery... Fantastic. They have the key on so they can use the windows and course the lights are on and now its dead.

Should be fine to just jump that and let the alternator recharge it, or use one of those battery tender kits. Shouldn't actually need to replace it.

Hi Leprechaun, it sounds like U had a bad 'battery A good battery should not have gone bad unless the lights were on for many hours. Better 2 go bad @ a shop then out on the roads > Good Luck

Well they did charge it up again, come to find out its the original battery from 2004, I suppose i'm well overdue for a replacement Anyway, heres the pictures

Ouch. If it was the original battery, you pretty much got the expected life out of it. In a way it's good it died there, and didn't leave you stranded somewhere. I'd try for a discount. Wouldn't count on it. But I'd at least ask. After all, you're gonna have to re-program your stereo, the car may have to go through the re-learn process, etc. Mention all the things that usually pop up when you pull the battery out of the car for any length of time. More of an inconvenience discount if anything.
