Cool

Hi `Zach & thanks for your reply It's good U know what days you have `off (I never know until they happen).

Sounds like a good deal to have another ride to drive when you Monte is all cleaned up and you don't want to drive it when it's raining etc.

There was a discussion this morning in the employee's lounge that the Chevy Malibu had a 3.5 L in the 04 Malibu's ?
(I didn't think they had one until 06 in the Monte Carlo), but I learned that Chevy did have a 3.5L single cam engine (a bored out 3.4L) & it was rated @ 200 HP...The 3.5L in the Monte was a twin cam with variable timing...

I don't know `if the 3.1L is part of that family & will have to search...One of the seniors has a 04 Malibu MAXX with the 3.5L & I will have to check it out...I've detailed it b-4 & drove it to get gas (I liked it >cause U can get a SurfBoard in it (LOL)...
It was like the below one

I heard he maybe selling it & I know it's low miles & it might make a good beach ride for me until I know `if I'm staying stateside or going to join Space overseas (?)
*Note>Thanks MR Google Search 4 the above ^ lol

WoW, that filled in some empty space on the MCF
Wish you & Member's a great Lunch & a Fun day whatever you are doing ? > Let us Know everyone > What U R doing ?
I'm here on the MCF until the next truck pulls in & takes me away...
Peace/Out from Bum'Mike

I actually liked those malibu maxxs you dont see many around here. They were not a bad looking hatchback at all. I think they might have had an ss version but I am not sure. I still like the 97-03 body style which is the one I am driving. I have a friend who has the malibu like that but the sedan version, they are not bad looking cars at all. If you can get it I would.

Thanks `Zach & Aaron for your posts & infor
I agree Aaron, it would be great with a 3.9L. (Space had a 3.9L in his Monte & it was a great engine 4>Sure...

I just talked with Space's grandfather & he said I could get a good price on the 04 LT Malibu & he said he thinks it only has about 50K miles or less & it's garaged kept & still looks like new.

I'm going go see him 2morrow with BeachBum Tommy & check it out...Oh, it has every option on it (sun Roof) & a DVD in the back (?) remote start, leather, prem audio system etc. When I detailed this car was about 10 years ago when he 1st got it...(Now, he isn't driving it )...

I will have 2 do more research on it...
Thanks guys again for your post & infor + added to the activity on our forum
Peace/Out Bum'Mike

That DVD system in that Malibu is pretty cool looking. Wouldn't mind having that in my monte or Malibu.

Evening all. It's been a while since I've checked in. The monte is good but needs some rotors so I'll probably get to that in a few weeks. Also time for an oil change and a wax job. Life is good and the weather is pretty nice here lately so no complaints there. I hope all is good with all the monte community.

Space it was an auto, noticed a few funy shifts last week, as I made my deliveries yesterday it got progressivly worse made it to my last stop about 15 miles away from work started going again and it would shift into second and just slip, did 20mph stuggling the rest of the way back, good news is we have a replacement, I am taking one of the other drivers van and running his route, him and my manager are driving down to iur wi branch to pick it up, if I heard right it is a couple year old dodge caravan,

life is ok, nothing much going on, pace car is running good, doing lower control arms this weekend she shakes like hell when breaking and she sways a bit at speed, bushing on the pass side are bad, just doing both
