Good morning guys and Happy New Year!
Currently snowing; we've had about 1" of snow in the past 24 hours and are expecting another 2-4" today and 1-3" overnight.
Sorry about the photos and talk the past couple days but I'm extremely excited if you can't tell! NHL Winter Classic is today right here in Ann Arbor at Michigan Stadium, featuring Detroit Red Wings vs. Toronto Maple Leafs. I'm headed up there for the game a little bit later and, let me tell you, I am super pumped! Game starts at 1 PM EST and will be broadcast on NBC (CBC for you Canadians). A chilly 4 °F at game start and occasional snowfall throughout the day. This is definitely going to be the coldest and snowiest Winter Classic to date. I can say, to be a huge hockey fan, and have something like this right in your backyard, is an incredible feeling. Should be an amazing atmosphere today!
Both Detroit and Toronto practices and family skates were yesterday afternoon at Michigan Stadium.
Detroit vs. Toronto alumni games (2 games) were also yesterday afternoon and were the finale of Winter Festival events at Comerica Park in Downtown Detroit. 74-year old Red Berenson, University of Michigan's current hockey coach, played in the first game.
Also had a New Years Eve block party on Main St. in Ann Arbor last night as part of the Winter Classic festivities.

morning all, happy new year. Remote fired the monte last night at the party and got told by the host to shut it off cause it was too loud. First time I've ever had an issue with the car being too loud
