I am hoping for a better day tomorrow. I hope all of our nite owl workers have a good and a short night. I hope everybody has a good morning and day of it on Wednesday. I'm going to try to roll over and get some sleep. I don't know how much success I will have with that.

Mornin' all. Happy Hump Day! The clear sky last night allowed the temps to drop around here. It's currently 29° with 92% humidity. It's clear outside my windows but looking at the hillside I can see fog banks scattered about. Hope everyone makes a good one of it today.

Good Morning. Just got back from taking the wife to work since my car is in the shop. Then take the boy to school. Do my chores around here then I have an eye doctor appt. at noon. I go every 2 years with my insurance. Hopefully my car will be done early and I can remove a few items and get them sent off to be painted by one of our members. Make a great day of it everyone. Suppose to rain here.

 

Mornin guys. Home from work and I am completely soaked right now. It's been pouring rain for 6 hours now. Lots of street flooding in Middle TN right now.

Sparky, I saw your reply yesterday and yeah it's just a car. I need to learn to trust my gut more cause I had a nagging feeling when I bought the car, but no evidence (at the time) to support it. Shame I didn't hold off cause an 04 Intimidator just went up for sale in Nashville a couple grand below book value. If I had just held off I would now have my choice between that, an 06 SS for a few grand more than the Intimidator, and a Grand Prix (can't remember the year all cause it was debadged) with the L32. I'd probably be able to throw 50% down on the intimidator or the GP had I waited. Probably would have gone with the Intimidator if I had the choice. I saw that thing up for sale last year and it took several months to sell and I think it was either traded for a newer model or repossessed. As long as it took to sell last time it may still be available when I'm looking to buy again in a couple or few months. Who knows.

Jerry, I wish I could go to the eye doc every two years instead of every year, but my contact lense prescription is only valid for a year.

Anyway, I'm gonna finish this beer, eat something light, and then head for bed. I may check in a time or two before bed if I stay up a little while longer.

 

Everyone must be sleeping in. I'm off to bed. Realized last night that I'm off Sunday night because of the holiday, but we're working Friday night next week (so we'll still get 5 nights of work) and then I hear we may be working 6 nights the following week. Oh lovely. Hopefully my full time hire becomes official before that 6 night workweek.

Nissan has been having record sales though so until we launch the 3rd shift on the Altima line (which will actually be 2nd shift and we'll become 3rd shift officially) I think we'll be working several 6 night workweeks.

Anyway, I'm gone. I'll talk to y'all later.
